Safety
Safety is the number one priority on the challenge course. We look at safety in two major categories: the equipments (harnesses, helmets, carabineers, the tower, cables, etc) and the staff (our facilitators and their knowledge and practices).
The equipments is checked yearly by Adventure Resources. Adventure Resources is an outside contractor that is certified my the ACCT (Association for Challenge Course Technology). We also Check our equipment each and every time it is used.
Each member of the staff have each passed a college level Ropes Course Facilitation class that is taught on site twice yearly. In addition the staff keep daily logs to maintain a high level of safety.
